What does Block do?

Blocking someone cuts off contact. They can't message you, you can't message them, and any conversation you already had with them closes. You also stop getting notified when they save or PriceWatch your listings.

How it works

• Visit their profile and choose Block.
• Messaging closes in both directions, including any room you already had open with them.
• Undo it anytime from their profile, or from My Blocked Users.

Blocking is about contact, not visibility. Their listings and bins still show up in your feed. If you want those gone too, exclude them as well.

Block vs. Exclusion

These solve different problems, and using one doesn't turn on the other. Block is about contact: no messages either way, no notifications from them. Exclusion is about what you see: it clears someone's posts out of your feed, but they can still message you. Use whichever fits, or both.

Example

Someone keeps lowballing you in chat and won't take no for an answer. Block them: the conversation closes, they can't start a new one, and you won't hear from them again through the site.
